Description

The Halle (Saale) junction is being modernised and connected to the German Unity 8 transport project (VDE 8, Nuremberg-Berlin route).
Einheit 8" (VDE 8, Nuremberg - Berlin line). The reconstruction will create conditions in the Halle railway junction that will enable rail-bound high-speed traffic. In addition to the construction of new tracks, points, bridges and platforms, one of the most modern train formation facilities in Europe is being built on the station site. The ESTW-A Angersdorf project with track plan conversion is located in the western outer area of the node.
