Dorsch International Consultants is implementing projects financed by International Financing Institutions including KfW, GIZ, the World Bank, EBRD, EIB, the UN and others. Our work comprises a large variety of sectors such as water & wastewater, energy, social infrastructure, climate, and urban sustainability. We are providing engineering and advisory services along the entire project lifecycle, ranging from studies and investment planning, through design and implementation as well as capacity building and operation and maintenance support.

For our current and future projects, we are looking for an international Hydraulic Engineer with experience in IFI-funded water supply, sewerage/stormwater/flood control and wastewater projects.

Your Tasks:

• Hydrological/hydrogeological studies;

• Hydraulic calculation and modelling, sewerage/stormwater/flood control and wastewater infrastructure (including pump stations); network design and dimensioning of water supply would be an advantage;

• Groundwater management/recharge, rainwater harvesting;

• Working with a team to prepare of preliminary/detailed design and tender documents for water supply, sewerage/stormwater/flood control and wastewater infrastructure;

• Climate change mitigation measures and environmental aspects.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• University degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Water Resources, Civil/Environmental Engineering or equivalent;

• Min. 10 years of overall professional experience, with at least 8 years in international water projects funded by International Financing Institutions (IFI), preferably KfW, GIZ, World Bank and others;

• In-depth technical experience in hydraulic design and modelling for water supply, sewerage/stormwater/flood control and wastewater infrastructure;

• Excellent English language skills. Good command of French or Arabic would be an asset.
